Sawah Luhur, Indonesia, over 200 community members gather daily at the local mosque for prayers and religious activities. Until now, they’ve relied on distant water sources and rainwater for their basic needs. This project will establish a sustainable water well system directly at the mosque.
The well will serve both the mosque’s ritual purification needs and provide clean water access to the surrounding community. With a depth of 110 meters, this well will ensure year-round water availability, transforming daily life for worshippers and local families alike.
This project includes complete installation of:
- Deep water well with modern pump system
- Distribution points for easy access
- Proper drainage system
Upon completion, this well will provide clean water for:
- Daily prayer preparations
- Community drinking water
- Cleaning and washing facilities
- Local families’ household needs
